Teenage Cancer Trust - Dumball 2012: Back to Black · 2 June 2012 ·

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

The Channel 4 News Team are taking part in Dumball 2012: Back to Black - a mad dash across Europe in a load of old bangers, driving to the Ukraine via no less than 14 amazing countries, 3 seas, 2 mountain ranges and a couple of beaches - all in aid of The Teenage Cancer Trust.

As well as driving the length of France and Italy in just two days, we will be: -

> Zipping through Albania
> Hitting the Carpathian Mountains
> Visiting Moldova
> Skating into the Ukraine

Check out the route map here.

Now the important bit. Since 2007, the dumball has been raising money for the Teenage Cancer Trust to build a state-of-the-art unit at a recognised centre of excellence, the Royal Marsden Hospital. This is now open, thanks in part at least to the fundraising efforts of Dumballers. Help TCT with their next major projects by donating today.
