Event: CHM 2021 - ARU's Together in Sound, on 17 October 2021
The CHM takes place on 17 Oct 2021. We're encouraging runners to support ARU's TiS project for people with dementia and their carers. Places are available for ARU students, staff, alumni, donors, and family/friends. Raise £150 for a free entry place!

Story

ARU Foundation is Anglia Ruskin University's (ARU) charitable arm established to provide financing and support to a wide range of charitable causes, projects and activities across the university involving ARU student, staff and donors. On this occasion, we are working together with Cambridge Half Marathon (CHM) and ARU - CIMTR supporting the ARU's Together in Sound project for people affected by dementia and their carers. Although there's still no cure for this debilitating disease, we know that music can give people with dementia and their carers a much better quality of life, improving their relationships and bringing back connections that would otherwise be lost. Your donations will help us train more music therapists and researchers, buy musical instruments, and access new venues so that Together in Sound can reach many more people with dementia across the UK and potentially around the world. 100% of donations made through ARU Foundation will go toward expanding this project.
