Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Don't Be That Someone (DBTS) is an award winning campaign I started because I lost my uncle in a drink drive accident. We take a pro-active approach to informing 14-18 year olds about the dangers and consequences of drink driving. We also examine issues like peer pressure, the responsibility of the passengers, the after effects of causing serious injury or death, and consequences for families and the wider community.

Currently, the government does not target 14-18 year olds in their drink drive campaigns, even though research shows young people establish their attitudes towards driving safety well before the age they legally begin driving. That attitude stems from a range of influences, but especially from role models and personal traffic experiences.

Your donations will go directly towards helping us to deliver our workshops, and however much you can spare will make a difference to people's lives.
