We're doing our third annual 6-a-side football tournament at Billinge Community Soccer Centre on 5 April 2014 for the Alder Hey Children's Charity. The event is in memory of our son Thomas Isaac Chesworth, who died of hypoplastic left heart sydrome (HLHS) in November 2009, aged 10 days old.

This charity is to support Alder Hey Children's Hospital, who provided not only Thomas with remarkable first class care during the entirity of his short life, but wonderful care to both Nichola and myself and the rest of our family before, during and after our stay there.We have decided to fundraise for this charity so that other families who find themselves in similar extraordinarily difficult situations can experience the incredible level of care which we had.
