Story

Darren and Conrads Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge on Friday 11th June 2021

Both our mums have required the care of the team at St Peters Hospice and our families have experienced the dedication of the people who every day work with the sadness experienced with end of life for both the patients and their families. We both want to give something back in dedication of our mums and as a thankyou for the care provided. Any donations or support appreciated.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks route is 24 miles (38.6km), and includes 1585m (5200ft) of ascent.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, usually in this order, and in under 12 hours. These peaks form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

St Peter's Hospice is Bristol's ONLY adult hospice caring for local people with life-limiting illnesses. Our commitment is to improve the quality of life of patients while extending care and support to their families and loved ones. All of our care is provided free of charge, but it costs us around £20,000 a day to provide that care. For most of this money we rely on Gifts in Wills, donations, fundraising and our shops.
