Update 31/05/21: 1971 miles!!

We made it, not only a detour around northern Scotland, but a visit over Ireland to our Belfast and Dublin sites.

Update 24/05/21: 1452 miles, finally heading south and back to Manchester - still a bit to go though!

Update 19/05/21: 1080 miles - we have gone on a detour

One of our engineers, Laurie, is working in Aberdeen - we have gone on a detour to say a virtual hello! The journey is now 1814 miles!!

DDE staff members are virtually travelling around the UK to help raise money for Manchester Mind. The route is based around some of our customers sites, and we will be saying a virtual hello as we go past.

In total the journey is 1464 miles covering the UK. The team have the month of May to complete the challenge, every mile counts be it a walk, run or cycle.

The team involved are: Andy M, Andy P, Carrien, Dale, Dane, Dave G, Jamila, Jon K, Jon W, Mark A, Michelle, Mikey, Phil, Phillipa, Rachel, Rita and Simon.

Manchester Mind is an independent, local charity, which supports over 6,500 children, young people and adults each year. We believe that everyone deserves to be supported in their mental health needs and we have a part to play in that.
