Mr Motivator's Workout Challenge for Brain Tumour Charities
Campaign by Brain Tumour Research (RCN England and Wales 1153487, Scotland SC046840)
This 10-day challenge is an easy way to have fun and feel good about exercise whilst raising funds to help some great charities who offer vital services for those affected by a brain tumour, and fund critical research to find a cure

Story

As you probably know, I'm not the most athletic of people, I hate snazzy outfits, neon and workout gear. Its also fairly well known that I hate gnomes.

So, for a good cause, I thought what better than to join in with my all-time hero🤔 - Mr Motivator - and join in his 10 day workout challenge. I WILL wear neon, I WILL be enthusiastic and if I raise the first £150, I WILL do it in gnome themed workout clothes (oh Jaysus! - I've never owned leggings in my life) AND I WILL post a picture of it on Facebook for all to see and laugh at. You are paying for my humiliation and helping Brain Tumour Research at the same time. If you donate, I'll also buy you a large gin next time we meet up - that is much more my style!

My lovely Dad died in 2016 with a glioblastoma. A friend has just received the same devastating diagnosis and is fighting bravely. March is Brain Tumour Awareness month, it seems the right time to do my bit. I know that there a lot of charity demands at the moment, but I'm asking for anything you can spare.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer and just 12% survive beyond five years. These terrible statistics, as well as devastating stories of loved ones affected by brain tumours, have galvanised brain tumour charities into action, determined to do more to support brain tumour patients and their families and carers, or dedicate their time and efforts to funding long-term research into finding a cure.
