I signed up to READ simply because it supports a good cause, and does it the right way. We take old textbooks that would have been dumped by schools and use them. Tanzania uses the old British curriculum so the textbooks get a new home. But rather than just dumping tonnes of unwanted books, we hand sort the books and only send those the schools need and recycle the rest!!! There's no massive corporation, just students who want to help and we all do our best. So every penny you give is going to make a difference :). The money You give goes to shipping these books to Tanzania and making some very eager to learn students very happy. So please give generously.
