I'm raising money to support the JDRF as part of Team Witney. We're a team of 26 colleagues who've challenged ourselves to complete the first stage of the Tour de France taking place through the Yorkshire Dales in 2014.

It seemed like a brilliant opportunity to raise money and challenge myself at the same time. I just didn't appreciate how far 118 miles is through the Dales with a couple of major climbs thrown in as well. It's going to be a real achievement!
