....I've been upgraded from last year's self appointed chief cheerleader to this year's relay leg member 3 of 5. I'm here primarily for my buddy and relay Captain Drew who does such a sterling job supporting people living with HIV. As an lgbtqia+ person and Counsellor I've seen how a HIV diagnosis can initially leave a person devastated given the stigma and myths still surrounding the condition. The terrible AIDS advertising campaigns of the 80's live long in the memory of those generations who were led to wrongly associate a HIV diagnosis with a shame filled life sentence.  Your donation will aid the organisation to truly help ALL those in our society affected by HIV to lead the positive lives that everyone deserves. It is especially appreciated amid this cost of capitalism crisis and latest stormont stalemate which is disproportionately affecting the worse off and most marginalised already in our society.  Dean x
