Story

My son Kane and I are taking part in the 2019 London to Brighton bike ride with my Aeromet colleagues Andrew Bourne, Carly Ryan, Howard Kimberly, Kelvin Milner, Kim Wheatley, KinLok Lee, Mathew Elliott, Mike Twyman, Paul Moses, Rory Milner, Simon Holliday and Yunqian Zhang to raise money for CALM.

My son Jamie was 25 years old and was very successful in business. Jamie was business development manager.  He has two sons, one who is 4 and the other one was born 3 days before Jamie's funeral. Jamie was always the life and soul of the party but unfortunately that was mostly a mask for the demons he fought within.  Jamie managed to suppress his sadness a lot of the time, but in August of last year things became too much for him and tragically he took his own life. I still struggle to believe this has actually happened. This has absolutely devastated our family and friends and we have lost a wonderful young man. By raising money for CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) I hope we can help other people to find a way to cope with their lives and find a little peace within their minds. If Jamie had known about this organisation then maybe he would still be with us today.

Please give generously!
