The 'Captain's Charity'  chosen by Deanwood Park Golf Club  for 2022-2023 is Macmillan Cancer Support.

To begin the fundraising year we had intended to play a challenging 640 holes-in-a-day on June 1st 2022.

Thanks to increasing enthusiasm we increased the challenge to 864 holes but eventually SMASHED that challenge by playing a MASSIVE 936 holes-in-a-day!!

Since then the Ladies raised more than £900 at their Macmillan Coffee morning (lots of cake and a big raffle)..Fantastic!

We will continue with other fund raising ideas in our quest to raise £4000 by April next year..

Please do give whatever you can afford to Macmillan Cancer Support that supports anyone facing the fear and uncertainty of cancer from initial diagnosis to end-of-life care.
