Midnight Walk 2017 · 1 July 2017 ·

Taking place on Saturday 1st July, the Midnight Walk lights up the streets of Crewe and Nantwich to raise funds for St Luke's Hospice.

Story

Maisie and Charlotte are both 10 year old (gorgeous) girls doing the Midnight Walk for St Luke's Hospice for the first time this year and are very excited about raising money and getting to eat chocolate after midnight! They hope to raise extra money themselves by having a car boot sale etc. They are walking with Charlotte's Mummy, and my very good friend, Sharon.

Since 1988, St Luke’s has been providing palliative care to local people, supporting them in ways which go beyond the scope and funding of the NHS. Last year we supported over 1,000 local people with a huge range of support from end of life care on our ward to supporting carers, and from helping children cope with grief to helping patients return to work after an illness. We are a charity and provide all our care for free, so we rely on the generosity and commitment of our supporters to raise more than 80% of our costs.
