Story

Hi Everyone,

The walk happened last week, but unfortunately we didn't quite make it.  After 3 days of walking for 9 hours solidly, and 3 hours into the final day, Helen's ankle decided to give in.  We did walk over 50 miles in those 3 days, so if you would still like to sponsor us, please do!  If you have already sponsored us and would like all or part of your money back - there's no hard feelings - just email Helen h.e.gray@gmail.com.

The walk is in aid of CORD, as it is their 40th anniversary this year.  For more information, visit their webpage: www.cord.org.uk

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: CORD - (Christian Outreach - Relief and Development) will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.

Cord is an international charity that works with people in highly sensitive and oppressive contexts to transform dysfunctional relationships into those that create peaceful & inclusive societies. Our vision, mission and values are inspired by the Christian faith. Our Vision is of a world where all people live in the fullness of peace; having the freedom to flourish and live free from fear. Our Mission is to transform dysfunctional relationships between individuals and communities and those holding power into positive and thriving relationships built on mutual dependency and trust. Cord works in partnership with local community based organisations to develop their skills, knowledge and expertise with a view to enabling them to more effectively advocate on behalf of communities with government, private companies, and others with power and leverage to impact the quality of life of disadvantaged communities.
