We seek to raise funds to increase awareness of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS). We have a defibrillator donation scheme in Northern Ireland and welcome the opportunity to educate the public about SADS. Together we can save lives.

Big Challenge, small ask

In May I’m taking part in my first 70.3 event (a half iron man). I will swim, cycle and run a total of 70.3 miles. I wanted a new challenge and so far I’m enjoying the training programme (ask me again in a few weeks!).

I thought I might take the opportunity to raise some much needed funds for a cause very close to my heart. My fabulous niece Eliza is one of my all time heroes, a confident, inquisitive, kind and very active girl who loves to try new things and ‘get stuck in’. Eliza is very active and loves playing all types of sports.

Eliza has a life threatening heart condition and without ready access to a defibrillator Eliza would not be able to stay active and enjoy the normal childhood sports so many can take for granted. ‘The Danny Mills Foundation’ provides defibrillators in the community and in sports facilities for children like Eliza.

The more defibrillators available, the more normal life can be for those diagnosed with a heart condition.  Thank you for supporting this important cause!
