Windermere end to end 10.5 miles · 18 June 2018

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity operates and funds three air ambulances and a fleet of critical care cars covering Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire and the West Midlands. This lifesaving service costs £13-14 million each year and is funded by donations only.

Story

Every year I like to set myself a personal challenge and for 2018 it  will be the most challenging yet!

On the 18th June I will be swimming the length of Lake Windermere which is 10.5 miles and will hopefully take between 7 to 8 hours to complete. This is more than just a swim, my diet and lifestyle will need to change.

Please support my efforts by offering a donation to my chosen charities which are Staffordshire Air Ambulance and The Brain Tumour Charity. Both charities are chosen because of personal reasons related to family and friends.

Many thanks for supporting me.
