Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am raising money for a charity that is close to my heart.

My dad was diagnosed with a grade 4 malignant brain tumour in May 2016  and even though the initial signs were good, it has been a hell of a year.

He lost a lot of his confidence and movement with his legs but his humour and smile was still there.

The highlight of the year was seeing him walk down the aisle at his grandsons wedding in October even managed to stay for the whole event, the picture is of him enjoying himself.

He sadly passed away on April 16th 2017  at the tender age of just 68.

We need to find a cure for this horrendous disease so family's don't have to endure the pain and heartache we all went through.

Let's keep his memory of him alive by raising as much money as we can and also raising awareness.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
