Story

We've never needed you more than we need you today.Weve recognised for a very long time that it takes a community to make a hospice and, in light of the current coronavirus outbreak, weve never needed you more than we need you today. With a big increase in people needing palliative care at this time, our services are facing more demand than ever before. But our shops have had to close, our events are being cancelled and our income has almost dried up. We are now reliant on donations to continue our work. Were continuing to deliver care to some of the most vulnerable people in your local community, but it costs £850,000 every month just to keep our service going.By taking part in Miles 4 St Giles and raising sponsorship too, you will be helping to raise vital funds for Katies Appeal to allow us to continue our essential work.We need you, our patients need you. Thank you so much.

St Giles cared for my Cousin Katherine at the end of her life. St Giles  relies on fundraising and donations to carry on with the amazing care that they provide but because of the coronavirus, they are running out of funds which is making it harder to continue their work. Please help me to help them continue caring for people, just like they did for Katherine.

I am pledging to walk 4 miles each day for 30 days, a 120 miles in total. Please sponsor me and my little legs. Any donations will be greatly received and will encourage and motivate me to keep on walking. My aim is to raise £100 so please give anything you can.

Thank you and stay safe,
