Story
You are probably sat at home right now wondering what your lockdown 3.0 challenge should be. Well look no further - this is the challenge for you! You can do it during lockdown and you can do it alone, with your family, your exercise buddy or even your four-legged friend. Walk it, run it, jog it or cycle it (or hop it backwards if you so desire!). You can do it around your local park, favourite trail or even your garden.Walk the virtual distance between our two hospices - Mount Edgcumbe in St Austell to St Julia's in Hayle - Hospice to Hospice is 37 miles and we are giving you 6 weeks to complete your miles. It's less than a mile a day and so it's perfect to keep you and the family moving during lockdown!Every £20 raised will fund an hour of nursing care, so please continue to support us and help keep our beds open.
This is a personal journey to support a family who are resilient and strong, who support others when their problems are bigger and have courage when we are crumbling around them. Anyway we can help... every breath you take, every move we make, every bond you break every step you take.. as Sting famously sang. So best foot forward step by step, mile by mile. We will get there.
