I am raising money for The Volunteer Tutors Organisation (VTO).

VTO is a charity, registered in 1977, which provides support for children who experience difficulties with their education. We recruit, train, place, resource and support volunteer tutors to give one-to-one educational support and guidance to children from disadvantaged backgrounds in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

I've been tutoring for VTO for a few years now, since the COVID-19 pandemic, because I feel it's really important every child and young person gets the most from their school education to give them the best opportunities as an adult. I want to help make sure those who start to struggle get help to catch up instead of getting left behind. And I want to help re-build the confidence of those who have taken some knocks.
