Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page

I am running in memory of a very brave girl Nicole Stevens, who died at the beginning of this year from Cancer.  Nicole was fighting this horrible disease for the 3rd time but unfortunately this time did not win the fight.  She was a huge inspiration to all who knew her, brave, kind and always smiling and singing.  She was loved by all who met her. 

Whenever I have been training and finding the runs hard I just think of how brave Nicole was through all her challenges during her illness and she gave me the strength and determination to carry on.  

I don't really enjoy running but want to run the whole of the Great North Run this year rather than run/walk in honour, respect and love for this very very brave girl, who at 16 was taken from us all, far too soon.
