My mum has been diagnosed  with terminal bowel cancer.   I have therefore decided raise money for Bowel Cancer UK by running  the virtual Lands End to John O’Groats challenge which is 874 miles.  It started on my birthday 23 November and ends on 22 November, although I aim to run it as quickly as I can, it averages out at 16 miles  per week.

 Bowel Cancer UK is the  UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. They fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care and to try snd stop people dying from bowel cancer.
