Supporting over 1,400 family members of seriously ill children, Camp Simcha is more than just a charity, we are here 24/7 to be a family of support for families of children with over 50 different medical conditions.

Story

For those of you who know us, four out the six of us would call exercise - power walking round Brent Cross! So when we decided to invest in a pair of good running shoes to support Evie’s Night Owls it has been a challenge that our knees will never forget!

We are running for a cause very close to our hearts. Evie's Night Owls is a respite care project run by Camp Simcha in memory of Evie Bladon z"l. After suffering from oxygen deprivation during her birth in 2012, Evie was born with severe brain damage. Her initial MRI was devastating-she wasn’t expected to make it past 48 hours but she was a fighter who went on to celebrate three birthday’s.

The trauma Evie had suffered during her birth resulted in multiple health issues including cerebral palsy, global developmental delay, epilepsy, severe visual impairment as well as a number of other medical problems which unfortunately resulted in a limited life expectancy and the need for 24/7 care.

With your support The Evie Night Owls project, will be able to expand its respite care and provide more opportunities for relief for parents of a child with a serious or life threatening illness.

Many Thanks for your support.

Debbie Dawson, Hannah Glass, Mandy Myers, Danny Myers, Lee Bladon and Jessica Neiss x
