The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing, we're doing whatever it takes to help more people with cancer get the best care the UK has to offer, whoever and wherever they are. To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk

Story

We never got the chance to use Macmillan nurses, as Mark's diagnosis was so late, but the care and support they give to sufferers and their families is amazing.

They provide advice and support to make the nightmare easier to live through and they campaign for better cancer care. Unfortunately Mark didn't get good cancer care and whilst it gave me something to fight for, no-one should have to suffer in such appalling conditions when they're so desperately ill.

I know that everyone gives a huge amount to charity and so many of you have supported fundraising that I've done in memory of Mark. I can't thank you enough for your support, you are truly changing people's lives.
