Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Having raised stacks of cash for various (mostly cancer) charities over the last 5 years we have decided to bring it closer to home and do something for this amazing charity.

As most people are aware my eldest son Ivan has significant hearing loss and a couple of years ago was put in touch with EDRU. Since then he has been capped twice for international matches against Wales and played in several friendly matches. He loves his rugby and sharing his sport with other deaf people has been a revelation for him. As a family we have been welcomed into the squad, the first time we have been involved with the wider deaf community too.

There are great hopes for the team and for World Deaf Rugby at large but the RFU fund very little of its deaf teams activity so the team is run as a registered charity (maybe one day that too will change !). So anything we can do to help is fantastic.

I know its not a life saving charity or anything and that makes it a challenge to raise for in its self...Ivan says it is both 'life enhancing and life changing'.

WE will walk the hard yards but would be over the moon if you could help
