Brighton Marathon 2014 · 6 April 2014 ·

Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

Last year i decided to run the Brighton Marathon on the 6th April 2014. This is my first EVER full (26.2 miles) Marathon. I also decided to use this as an oppurtunity to raise donataions for Prostate Cancer UK. I chose this charity as it is one close to my heart because my father had prostate cancer and he passed away because of 7 years ago at the age of 56. With that in mind i am asking you to sponsor me in my challenge to finish my first ever marathon in under 4 hours. I'm not asking for huge sums of money from you, even the cost of a Friday night curry or trip to the pub which could cost you anywhere between £10-£20.00 would be a fantastic amount to donate and you can give yourself a pat on the back for helping such a worthwhile charity and look foward to indulging in your curry or pint next week and this would most definately help me achieve my target. If I can get to £500.00 I would be extremely happy. Thankyou hugely to everyone in advance for my sponsors! Much love Debbie xxxxx
