The Glasgow Kilt Walk · 30 April 2023 ·

We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

We are walking the Glasgow Kiltwalk, which is a 23 mile walk between Glasgow and Balloch, on April 30th this year to raise money for Blood Cancer UK. This is in memory of Jonathan’s Dad Ian, who died of Acute Myeloid Leukaemia on 08th May 2022. So far, Jonathan and his friends and family have raised over £7000 for Blood Cancer UK and the Ardgowan Hospice in Greenock, who cared for Ian in his last days with us. We are hoping to raise some much needed funds to make Blood Cancer a thing of the past, and to help those living with this awful group of diseases access better treatment options.
