I must be mad! Have you ever said yes to something and then realised you said it out loud?! I’m terrified of heights and can’t believe I volunteered myself to complete a 100ft abseil but it is for a cause that is so dear to my heart! 

Two years ago I said yes to a mission trip to Uganda and it was the best yes I have ever said! After lots of fundraising, hard work and dedication from an amazing team we were ready to go. 

July 2018 started the journey I will never forget. Uganda and it’s people will always hold a very special place in my heart. They blessed me beyond measure and were placed in my life to teach me, humble me and to give me a purpose. 

I can’t thank God enough for sending me to the people of Uganda, especially one little boy in particular who will forever have my heart. As a special needs assistant I was shocked to see just how limited the resources were and the lack of equipment this little boy had access to. They do the absolute best they can with so little. It broke my heart. There isn’t a day goes by that I don’t think about him and pray for him. 

We take so much for granted, running water, beds to sleep in, blankets to keep us warm, a roof over our heads and food on the table. We  have clean clothes to wear and shoes on our feet and access to free education and free healthcare. With your help and financial support we can provide some of these things to the young people of Uganda. 

So please, (I’m not ashamed to beg) if you would like to help, I’m asking you to make a donation. Every single penny you donate will be used to help these young people.
