Caledonian Canal Kayak Challenge · 12 September 2021

O2e encourages and supports ordinary people to achieve extraordinary sporting and physical challenges. In so doing O2e aims to raise substantial sums of money to support terminally ill and disabled children and their families.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our Just giving page.

O2e is a community of philanthropic volunteers who enjoy furthering themselves through exercise and adventure with the aim of improving their own lives and to improve the lives of children who are in need of help due to disability or illness via fundraising.

Lucinda and I have decided it’s time to dust off the paddles, step out of our comfort zones, and throw ourselves into another adventure.  On the 12th September we will embark on a 5 day, 60 Mile (95km) challenge kayaking the Caledonian Canal from Fort William to Inverness.  We will paddle along the canal and also traverse Loch Lochy, Loch Oich, the stunning Loch Ness and Loch Dochfour.  In true expedition style we will wild camp beside the lochs at night.

We are undertaking this challenge to raise funds for Ordinary2extraordinary.  As with all of our O2e challenges this it completely self funded so every penny raised through donations goes straight to the charity.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your donation and in turn make a difference to the lives of the children who are in need of help.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
