Why I’m Taking Part

Cancer has changed my life forever. I lost my beautiful sister, Carol Browell, and my dear friend, Paula Fowler, to this terrible disease. Their loss is something I carry with me every day.

I have also watched other family members and friends face cancer with incredible courage — some thankfully coming through the other side. Seeing both the heartbreak and the hope has made this cause deeply personal to me.

That’s why I’ve decided to use my business, Dazzled Emporium, to help raise funds and awareness. On 11th July 2026, we will be taking part in Relay For Life in Jarrow, bringing together a team of supportive, determined people who want to make a real difference.

This is about more than fundraising. It’s about remembering Carol and Paula. It’s about standing beside those still fighting. It’s about giving hope to families who need it most.
