Royal Parks Half Marathon 2014 · 12 October 2014 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am taking part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon this year in memory of my Dad and as a thank you to the Marie Curie Nurses that helped/supported myself and my family during the worse days.
My Dad, Ian Crane, died of cancer on 20 December 2011. Marie Curie were a great support to us all during his final days and thanks to their help we were able to give Dad his wish of passing away at home surrounded by his family. Marie Curie Nurses really are a great help to many families trying to cope at such difficult times and with our help they can continue to provide free hands-on care to people with terminal illnesses and support for the families out there just like mine. Every £20 raised pays for a Marie Curie Nurse to look after someone with a terminal illness for one hour so we really do need your help. I really appreciate times are hard for everyone at the moment but even if you can only spare a few £s it really will benefit such a wonderful cause.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!
