Story

WITH YOUR FANTASTIC SUPPORT WE REACHED OUR £10,000 FUNDRAISING TARGET SO WE'RE UPPING THE STAKES.

IF YOU HAVEN'T SPONSORED US ALREADY, PLEASE HELP US REACH OUR NEW TARGET OF £12,000 IN SUPPORT OF THE AMBULATORY CANCER CENTRE.

Please dig deep into your pockets for your credit card to sponsor us online. Any donation however small (like the change at the back of your sofa!) is very much appreciated.

We're going to be cycling 400km over 5 days which is comparable to cycling from London to Brighton every single day!  The reward for this feat is finishing at the Taj Mahal and we will raise funds for the Ambulatory Cancer Centre. This is certainly no picnic, as none of us have ever done anything like this before. We know it would be easier to go there on holiday, but we wanted the challenge and to support this project to help patients with cancer, so we're doing it the hard way!

The new Ambulatory Cancer Centre will provide the best treatment with the least disruption to the lives of patients and their families. Patients will be able to access treatments, diagnostics, counselling, information, complementary therapies and support on a totally integrated basis.  Dedicated environments will be created for the following major cancers: Men’s Health – including prostate and testicular cancers  - Women’s Health – including gynaecological and breast cancers - Haematological cancers and sarcoma – including leukaemia and bone cancers - Paediatric and adolescent cancers - Head, neck, brain and lung cancers and Upper and lower gastro-intestinal cancers

The centre will provide the treatment and holistic support necessary for thousands of patients, their families, friends and carers.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: University College London Hospitals Charitable Foundation will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

This is a great cause -so please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
