Story

As many of you know on 3 May 2018 my amazing Mom [Pat]
passed away from a rare cancer after 18 months of being incredibly brave. Brave is one of those words that means so many things to people; she was, she faced it head on and gave us every minute she could.

I am running to raise funds for St. Richard’s; they helped our family make Mom as comfortable as we possibly could in her last days. I walked away from St. Richard’s feeling so defeated, I wanted to do something meaningful that could support this group of amazing people that made one of Mom’s last wishes happen.

For those that don’t know me - previously raising a sweat
involved me walking to the wine rack! I wanted to do something to challenge myself. I ran my first event on 11th August 2018 [4.5kms] on 4th August 2019 I ran my first half marathon [21.1kms] I am now running the New York Marathon [42kms] on 3rd November 2019.

I am a runner 😊

Please help me raise every dollar/pound/euro [any other
currency] I can for St. Richard’s.

Your prize 😊 – every donation comes with a song on my playlist. Add your song to my Facebook page or message me; something that when I am running around New York makes me think of you.

Thank you xx
