Once again I am so pleased to be taking part on the Maggie’s London Night Hike 8th October 2021 I have done this walk for so many years now as I know how much this charity has helped me and others on their cancer journey! More than ever the need of raising money for Maggie’s especially in this world we find ourselves today is in demand due to the pandemic fundraising is a challenge for every good cause! Every pound counts no matter how small even if you just donate the cost of coffee from your weekly expenses or if you can donate the price of your lunch or a round of drinks or more that would be lovely!  Don’t forget to add gift aid if you are a UK Tax Payer!

I was first diagnosed with Breast Cancer on 9th September 1989 thats 32 years ago it has been an eventful journey with many twists and turns but thankfully I am still here and enjoying life and the many challenges I have faced over the years with such fantastic support from my family and friends and of course the amazing medical team at the Royal Marsden Hospital and of course Maggies.

 Maggies offers practical and emotional support to people with any type of cancer, at any stage, for free . Maggie's has an expert team of Cancer Support Specialists, Clinical Psychologists, Benefits Advisors, Art Therapists and Nutritionists and PTs, which lead workshops, courses, one-to-one and group support sessions. Helping people to change the way they live with cancer.
