Story

FOR YOUR DAUGHTER, SISTER, GIRLFRIEND, MOTHER, AUNT, NIECES, GRANDDAUGHTER AND ALL FEMALES WORLDWIDE ๐Ÿ’›As a member of team Endofound and a blessed patient of Dr. Tamer Seckin I am working at spreading the awareness of this debilitating disease. Aside from the obvious horrible menstrual cycles and denying women the gift of child birth, this disease takes even more. Endometriosis has been found as far as the brain, continuously feeding itself from estrogen. This disease brutally affects 1 in 10 WOMEN and no one knows why. For me, stage 4+ as my case was beyond the stages. Today 5 surgeries later it took me 15 years to be  first diagnosed with insufficient ablation surgery. I had another 10 excruciating years with countless doctor visits after work all denying me further surgery to remove my endometriosis that was back with a vengeance. The complexity of my case was too much for them to tackle. In  October 2014 in the parking lot of yet another dismissive Dr. visit, I contacted Dr. Seckin, the path that saved my life. Iโ€™m sure my life would be different if I had only found him sooner, Iโ€™m just thankful I found him. In the end Iโ€™ve had several bowel resections, frozen pelvis, full hysterectomy,, appendectomy, itโ€™s on the spine, arteries, ligaments, bladder, kidney, bowels, abdominal wall, cul da sac and yet thereโ€™s more lol. But hey, it gave me a broader medical vocabulary, Lymphedema, adenomyosis with a dark sense of humor and a fighting spirit. Please donate what you can, share this and participate in the virtual 5K so we can END ENDO ๐Ÿ’›
