We are going to do this rather marathon like swim on September 15th. It's happening! We've bought our wet suits (compulsary outfit) and have started our training. We are both scared, it's a long bit of cold river!

We want to do this in memory of Rosa Parkin, Kim Star and Ali Jennings.

The Penny Brohn offers support to anyone  living with cancer and their carers through holistic therapy of many kinds, counselling, diet advice, accupuncture, and mindfullness. It's a way of living that we could all benefit from and most definately played a huge part in Erika's recovery from breast cancer a few years back.

It is a charity  very close to our hearts and every donation will be put to good use as well as giving us the motivation to complete the 10k swim.

We both signed up for the swim with the Level Water Charity and met our goal so have decided to do some for the Penny Brohn as well. (We're not expecting double donations)
