Del Singh 2018 (QHF - 1/4, 1/2 & Full Marathon) Challenge for HEAL Charity

Del Singh's 2018 QHF Marathon Challenge - (1/4, 1/2 & Full Marathons) · 27 January 2018
Since my 10St weight loss following gastric surgery in late 2014 I have become more physical and active. In undertaking physical challenges I have try to align them with a charity fund raising project. I have done a number of small charity fundraisers but my main projects have been;
For 2018 I wanted to try and help a smaller less well known charity that might benefit from my efforts. I was directed towards the charity HEAL (Health & Education for All) which I had not heard of. I liked the sound of HEAL as not only was it founded in my hometown of Peterborough but HEAL actually helps orphaned children in India, and my Indian heritage and the care of children the most vulnerable souls are both close to my heart.
After running my first half marathon The Great Eastern Run
as a novice runner last year, I have now set myself an even greater task
namely that of running a ¼, ½ and Full marathon during 2018.
Del’s QHF Marathon Challenge will see me travelling from the south coast of England to the highlands of Scotland to fund raise for HEAL by running in;
I am hoping to raise £5,000 for HEAL in 2018 and will be funding all of these runs, travel and promotional materials out of my own pocket, so every penny I raise through your generous donations will go to the HEAL charity, and in turn as a volunteer charity with no paid executives 100% of donations will go to help orphan children in India.
Thank you for reading this and if you can share this and also donate then I would be very grateful.
