Nottingham Riverside Festival Dragon Boat Challenge · 4 August 2019

As the East Midlands’ only hospice for children and young people, we brighten the short lives of babies, children and young people who come to Rainbows. We want them to have fun and make special memories. We are also here to support their loved ones through the most difficult times of their lives.

Story

We’ve walked Ben Nevis, climbed the 02, and eaten mountains of chocolate from our office tuck-shop (well, it’s all for a good cause!), but now it’s time to turn to our hand once again to the treacherous River Trent and the annual Dragon Boat Challenge. Can we beat last year's efforts? Will our pride be once again battered?

Join us on Sunday 4th August 2019 to find out.

What is Dragon Boat racing?

Dragon boat racing is an ancient Chinese tradition. A team of paddlers work together to propel the boat forward as a drummer at the front of the boat keeps the beat. The winner is whoever crosses the finish line first!

Please Give Generously

We’d like to welcome you to contribute to this very worthy cause and, if you’d like to enjoy the spectacle of our team on the River Trent, to head on down to West Bridgford on Sunday 4th August.

Thank you,

DeltaNet International
