Thousands of family members across Wales become carers every year so that their loved ones can continue to live at home and have as normal a life as possible. Very little support is available for this army of heros - who get hardly any recognition (from the government) and no pay for the invaluable service and dedication they deliver day after day.

Until you walk in a carer's shoes, it's hard to appreciate how your life changes. Covid is making a challenging situation so much harder. 

Carers Wales and Carers UK are focused on making carers' lives that little bit easier. I'm doing what I can to raise awareness and some funds for them, so they can continue their great work to help carers across Wales and the UK.

My fundraiser stems from my work: helping other business owners to use LinkedIn and Social Media to start more conversations and generate more B2B leads. 

I'm offering 1-to-1 mentoring sessions to help business owners, marketing managers and sales managers build their business' brand or their own personal brand on LinkedIn. There are 10, 90 minute sessions available on a first come - first served basis. All sessions will be held via an MS Teams video call. 

• Do you need help to refine your LinkedIn Profile from a CV to be an asset to build your brand?
• Are you struggling to engage with new B2B prospects on LinkedIn, Facebook or Twitter to expand your network and promote yourself or your business?
  
• Is creating and curating content to start new business conversations by posting social media something you need support with?

I’m not charging a fee for these sessions. Instead I’m asking for a donation to be made to Carers Wales (which is part of CarersUK), who do such a great job in helping carers, mostly unpaid, supporting a loved one at home who is older, disabled or seriously ill. Please give generously, and a minimum of £20 per mentoring session, to support this great charity.
