Age UK Kensington & Chelsea is an independent, local charity working at the heart of the community to make sure that older people’s voices are heard, their needs are met and their independence is supported. We provide a wide range of services including befriending, practical help, information and advice and a variety of social and leisure activities.

Story

We all work for the Dementia Services Team at Age UK Kensington and Chelsea. Many of you will have had a relative with dementia at some point, or know someone who has.

The money raised from this skydive will primarily go towards buying resources for the Support Workers to use during their 1:1 visits with service users. These visits are invaluable, particularly to those who are housebound or socially isolated.  We hope to purchase tablet computers which can be taken into peoples homes and used  for reminiscing, contacting relatives, finding out what services are available in the local area and much more. Depending on how much we raise, money could also be used for groups and outings for people with dementia.

We really appreciate any donation you can give, big or small. It will all help to make a significant, positive difference to people living with dementia.

Many Thanks. Holly, Carole & Darren
