I am ELHT&Me's fundraising manager and throughout my years of being a charity fundraiser I have parachute jumped a couple of times, white water rafted, walked the Big One, abseiled, gravy wrestled and much, much more, 

BUT always avoided running. 

So here we go I have been training and I have to say, I hate it. 

Why did I think a woman in her 50's needed to do this?

Well.....!  every day, I meet people going through difficult journeys and I meet inspirational people who want to help and change outcomes for the good of all

I am going to do this in honour of all those who care enough to make a difference.

ELHT&Me is the official charity for East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust. The charity encourages staff and the public to raise funds in order to improve the health and wellbeing of the local population. All funds are for the benefit of our patients and their loved ones.
