I have set up this fundraising page to raise as much money as i can for Havens Hospice to buy vital equipment that it needs.  The money raised will go directly to Havens Hospice, Westcliff.  The money raised will go towards the following items,

20 Duvet covers @ £25 each = £500

Nurses uniforms £240

Lejrelet positioning cushions £405 plus vat

My dearest friend is currently being cared for at Fair Havens Hospice.  I have seen first hand the vital care and support the nurses provide for her, and her family.  It is a truly wonderful place, such a peaceful, tranquil home from home.  Julie has already given the nurses a hamper of goodies, to thank them for caring for her, in true Julie selfless style. Iknow if Julie could she would be fundraising herself to support them to continue their vital work for the families that need their care, as she did, in her own words in the image above when we raised together money for Cancer Research and took part in Race for Life this year.

Julie is truly the most inspiring, remarkable, beautiful, funny, happy, caring, loving, courageous, selfless, stylish ! person i have ever met, and will ever meet. We clicked the day we met and instantly became best friends.  Anyone that knows and loves her as i do, would agree she radiates sunshine and lights up a room wherever she goes and always, whatever the situation makes me laugh and smile.  Julie and her family have become our second family. I am truly blessed to call her one of my closest friends and to have her in my life.
