Sing for Life 2022 Denise & Mandy · 11 November 2022
Denise and Mandy are raising money for Sue Ryder by singing in the Sing for Life 2022 ladies choir this November.
Neither of us are natural singers but we’ve been practicing lots and are looking forward to putting on a fabulous show on 11th November.
(We were going to run a marathon but decided we’d learn to sing instead…)
This charity is close to both our hearts as we both have lost loved ones to cancer. Having previously worked at the Sue Ryder hospice, Denise has seen first hand the impact the charity makes to those receiving end of life care and their families.
Tickets for the show are available from the Cresset - 7.30pm, 11/11/2022 for anyone who wants to come and watch.
In times of hardship and everyone’s bills going up, even a few pounds would be greatly appreciated for this worthy cause to enable Sue Ryder to continue their fantastic work.
Thank you!

Lockdown, PPE and visitor restrictions didnt stop Sue Ryder. They kept on caring because people like me cared too. But there is one thing that could stop them now. With less income from their shops and many fundraising events cancelled this year, they already have £2m less coming in each month than they need to keep running at full capacity. We are now in a second national lockdown; every week Sue Ryder's shops are closed the charity loses an additional £500,000. Coronavirus cases are on the rise again and conditions like cancer are going untreated. Sue Ryder Nurses and healthcare staff are needed more than ever at a time when they simply dont have enough funding. Were facing an end-of-life care crisis the likes of which weve never seen before.
