Thank you for visiting the C2CCL Charity Bike ride charity page in memory of Dennis Dolphin (Dolla).

On 14th May 2022, over 20 cyclists will be leaving Whitehaven in Cumbria and following the C2C cycle route across the Pennines stopping overnight in Penrith. On the 15th May, cyclists will continue their journey from Penrith to Crook Community Leisure Centre.

Late last year, Dennis lost a valiant fight to cancer, far too young. The ride into CCL is to honour his many years in the construction industry, and the fact that he and his company were the main contractor on the build of the Crook Community Leisure Centre.

One of Dennis' requests was for the family to continue to support his chosen charity, Solan Connor Fawcett Family Cancer Trust - a fantastic local charity founded from yet more heartache caused by loss of life due to cancer.

Team Solan is there to provide support to ensure that no-one has to face cancer alone. Everyone knows somebody who has been touched by this terrible illness.
