Story

The mission of The Compassionate Friends: When a child dies, at any age, the family suffers intense pain and may feel hopeless and isolated. When our son Jacob passed, the Compassionate Friends provided highly personal comfort, hope, and support.  Help to insure every family experiencing the death of a son or a daughter, a brother or a sister, or a grandchild, Is able to also receive the support they need in Jacob’s memory.  Please help us by giving whatever you can using the 'Donate' button. Our goal is to aid the bereaved in the positive resolution of the grief experienced upon the death of a child. We support efforts to achieve physical & emotional well-being, and provide bereavement information & education to your community, employers, & co-workers to be supportive of your situation.
