In memory of my dad and on behalf of my mum (Monica), sister (Becky) and myself (Gareth) we have created this donation page to raise funds for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Warrington Hospital.

Dad (Dennis, aka Taidi to his grandkids) spent 11 days in Warrington's ICU and the care from the team of nurses was exceptional. The nurses really did everything they possibly could to save dad and the compassion and professionalism was amazing. Also, we offer our sincere gratitude for the emotional support we received as a family during the most difficult and darkest hours of our lives. 

Unfortunately, dad passed away on the 27th March 2018 but we take  comfort from being by his side in the last days. As a family, we spent many days and nights both at his bedside and in the family counselling room. If possible, we would like any donations to go towards improving  the ICU waiting area / counselling rooms. In particular the comfort of the furniture could be improved for when relatives are trying to grab a quick hours sleep in the middle of the night!
