Story
My old running coach Dennis Gill, is running 1k in his back garden everyday, for 42 days until he completes a marathon! What makes this even more miraculous is that Dennis suffers from Parkinson's disease.
Dennis is a true inspiration and has had such a positive influence on so many people's lives over the years. Not only is Dennis a fantastic and talented coach (as well as a runner - as he would often remind us), coaching many athletes to the very highest level, Dennis is also a wonderful human being. He has changed so many people's lives for the better in his time as a coach at Southport Waterloo AC and working with local schools. He's an extremely selfless character who wouldn't think twice about helping somebody else out in need.
His truly amazing effort is raising awareness for the charity Parkinson's UK, so any contribution anybody can make would be hugely appreciated - whether you donate a lot or a little. Anything helps.
Thank you all for any support you can offer.
I have included information about Parkinson's UK below.
