My dad was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer 5 years ago, just prior to the birth of my son Parker. My dad has shown tremendous strength and determination in his battle with cancer. We were delighted to learn that the cancer had stabilised and he was able to walk my sister (his daughter) down the aisle last August. Unfortunately, we have learnt that the cancer has now spread and we are all hopeful that he will be there to stand by me in celebrating my wedding in September. Knowing how hard he has been fighting, we remain confident he will be there. We have enormous respect for how hard he has been battling and we are doing this walk to show him how proud we are.
