Easter is on the horizon where we begin to look forward to the warmer days and spring flowers. We are pleased to announce that tickets for our Easter Raffle are available from today.

This year we are having an Easter raffle to help with raising money for the centre. We have been super busy with cats needing to come into care and currently have 120 cats waiting to find their  forever homes. As spring will soon be upon us we would love to raise funds to help look after all the kittens and cats in care.

We have not 1 but 3 prizes to be won in our Easter raffle which are filled with lots of treats!

To be in with the chance of winning one of the prizes follow the instructions below and buy a ticket to our Easter raffle, all while helping cats in the process!

Raffle tickets cost £1 each, to enter online there is a minimum payment of £2 so you will receive two entries to the raffle draw. JustGiving ticket sales close on 16th April at 12pm.

Tickets will be available from the centre until the draw on Sunday 17th April at 12pm. Tickets will be drawn on 17th April at 3pm.

1st prize: Food hamper with a selection of delicious treats & drinks.

2nd prize: Cat hamper with lots of accessories for your furry friend.

3rd prize: Pamper hamper, treat yourself to a cosy evening full of delights.

Important:

1- Please ensure that you supply an email address otherwise we cannot get in touch with you if you win.

2- Please tick the box next to ‘I'm happy to share my contact details with Cats Protection’. This will ensure we are able to get in touch with any winners.

Simply make a donation of £2 for two tickets or £10 for 10 tickets and JustGiving will direct the funds to the charity. We will then enter your name and ticket numbers into our raffle draw automatically; if you require a digital ticket, please let us know. You will receive an email if you are a winner.

Tickets cost £1 each. Every £2 donation = two entries.

You can also purchase 10 tickets for £10. Every £10 donation = 10 entries.

JustGiving has a minimum donation of £2. We cannot change this.

Terms and conditions:

1. The draw will take place at Cats Protection, White Cottage, Long Lane, Dalbury Lees, ASHBOURNE, Derbyshire, DE6 5BJ on 17th April at 3pm. All funds raised will go to Cats Protection. Registered Charity 203644 (England & Wales) SC037711 (Scotland).

2. Promoter: Dominic Sullivan, Cats Protection, National Cat Centre, Chelwood Gate, Haywards Heath, RH17 7TT.

3. The raffle is registered under The Gambling Act 2005 with Wealden District Council, Shared Environmental Health Service, Rother District Council, Town Hall, Bexhill on Sea, East Sussex TN39 3JX.

4. This raffle is open to residents of mainland Great Britain only (this excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands).

5. The cost of each ticket is £1. For online sales a minimum sale of £2 (two entries) is required. If you would like to purchase one ticket please get in touch with the centre (details above).

6. Gift Aid cannot be claimed on the sale of raffle tickets and is in breach of HMRC regulations. Any ticket purchases with Gift Aid added will be cancelled and refunded. 

7. Entrants must be 18 or over, if a ticket is sold unknowingly to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 18 they will be exempt from the raffle and will forfeit their prize.

8. Raffle tickets will be entered into the draw when the whole payment is received.

9. Tickets are not to be sold on the street or door-to-door.

10. Any money received after the arbitrary/closing date 16th April including late entries will be treated as a donation to help fund the work of Cats Protection and will not be refundable or eligible for the draw.

11. Winners will be notified via email within three weeks of the draw. A list of winners will also be published on  https://www.facebook.com/CPDerbyAdoptionCentre

12. The result of the raffle draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

13. For any tickets purchased online, you must ensure you follow the instructions and tick the box to say we can view your email address. Any payments received where this box isn't ticked will be treated as general donations because we have no way of contacting you. No responsibility is taken if raffle numbers are sent using an email and not received.

14. Participants purchasing tickets using JustGiving, subject to terms and conditions, will receive emailed ticket numbers within 48 hours if requested.

15. The deadline for entries on the JustGiving site is 16th April 2021. This is 24 hours prior to the closing date/time to allow time for the entries to be processed.

16. Cats Protection reserves the right to use the winner's name for promotional purposes.

17. Donations made not in equal pounds will be rounded down to the nearest £1 when calculating the number of raffle ticket entries. E.g. if you donate £2.80 you will only receive two entries into the draw with the remainder being treated as a donation.

18. Cats Protection respects, and is committed to protecting, your privacy. The personal information you provide will remain private and will only be used for the purposes of the raffle unless you give permission otherwise.
