Ramsterdam 2018

On 1st-3rd June 2018, two weeks before the World Cup kicks off, 400 football fans will unite to cycle 145 miles over two days, finishing at Ajax's Amsterdam Arena – and Derby County are getting involved in the action to raise vital funds for the EFL’s charity partner.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. It’s a disease which kills one man every 45 minutes – that’s two men during a football match. This is simply not acceptable but Prostate Cancer UK know that with your help we can turn it around. Time is against us but now is the time to take action, to make this a disease the next generation need not fear– and Derby County is committed to making a difference by contributing to this year’s event.

Staff members from right across the club are getting involved, with the aim to raise £11,000

The Rams’ representatives are: Ashley Peden, Andy Pennington, David Williams, Issy Walton, Jurij Fletcher, Louise Antill, Laura Mayes, Marc Maskery, Stephen Pearce, Tom Kidsley and Will Watson.

The team will begin their 145 mile journey from Barnsley’s Oakwell Stadium on 1st June, cycling to Hull where they will travel to Holland on an overnight ferry. Day Two will be a scenic ride to the finish line of Ajax’s Amsterdam Arena.
